St Mary’s University College was the key venue of the Féile an Phobail Summer School. This comprised of over seventy debates, lectures and discussions and a huge visual arts exhibition.

The theme for 2023 was ‘Welcoming the World’ and events took place from 3rd – 13th August.

The Summer School was part of a wider Féile programme of concerts, boxing, walking tours, summer camps, traditional music, storytelling, Irish language courses, sporting events, fundays, book launches and so much more.

For the first time, St Mary’s University College organised an International Summer School as part of Féile which attracted students and faculties from five universities in the USA.

Over 20,000 people attended Féile events at St Mary's this year.

Féile 35 was a huge success and here are some photographs which catch the spirit of the festival.
