Religious Studies

The Religious Studies Department has six full-time members of staff, all of whom have post-graduate qualifications in a range of disciplines relevant to Religious Studies. As one of the largest subject departments in the College, the Religious Studies Department has a high profile within the College community. The Department prides itself on the calibre of students it attracts and the academic standard achieved by them over their years in the College.

As a department within St Mary’s, the Religious Studies Department is firmly committed to the principles of Catholic Education and the on-going spiritual, moral, personal and social development of the students in the College.

Over the past number of years the Department has fully supported the College in its successful attempts at diversification and is keen to be involved in all aspects of future development.
