St Mary's University College, Belfast, in association with Ulster GAA, are now taking applications for their highly successful 'Gaelic Games Team Fit' course. The course offers Gaels the opportunity to study the sports science theory and practical elements of Gaelic Games. Expert GAA tutors and sports science specialists will teach the course over an 11-week period on a part time basis in St Mary's University College, Belfast.
No formal qualification is required to gain a place on the course but one essential criterion is that all course recipients must have access to an adult GAA team which they will work closely with to transfer the knowledge taught in the classroom into practice on the pitch.
The course begins on October 12. Further information is available by contacting Ryan Mellon on 07920528786 and application forms can be downloaded from both the St Mary's and GAA websites.
