St Mary's Senior Lecturer Jonathan Worley recently participated in a careers convention sponsored by the West Belfast Careers Teachers and the Business Education Partnership (BEP). Held at the Balmoral Hotel, Mr Worley was able to talk to scores of students from the West Belfast area about potential choices for study at St Mary's.
The St Mary's table proved to be a popular spot and received inquiries from students at De La Salle College, St Genevieve's High School, St Dominic's Grammar School, St Rose's Dominican College, St Louise's College, St Mary's Christian Brothers' School and other academical institutions.
"The students were friendly and interested," Mr Worley commented. "It was a pleasure talking with them and learning about their interests."
