As part of the Féile an Phobal community festival, Yiannis Bournous, Member of the Political Secretariat of SYRIZA, and Danai Badogianni, Special Advisor to Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, visited the College.

Mr Bournous spoke to a public audience on the rise of the SYRIZA party, its anti-austerity programme and the recent problems with externally imposed restrictions to Greek governance. Facilitated by the College and organised by the festival, the meeting was chaired by a representative of the Féile’s Debates’ Committee, Jim Gibney.
