Students from the Irish Department in St Mary’s University College gave a presentation in Glasnevin cemetery recently. They choose to focus their presentation on famous people from Irish history who are buried in the cemetery. This provides the students with an opportunity to do independent research and to develop their communication skills. The tour guide, Padaí Gleeson, praised the students highly for their efforts.
