Catherine Gilliland (Senior lecturer in Literacy and Education) represented St Mary's University College recently at the World Literacy Summit 2020.
The four-day summit was to take place from 5 - 8 April, 2020 in Oxford but this year delegates participated online.
The World Literacy Summit brings together leaders from eighty-five countries representing over two-thirds of
the world’s population, and all with a single focus – advocating, championing and educating on the vital
importance of improving literacy levels across the globe.
