As part of Mental Health week, the Students Union invited Kidz Farm (a mobile petting farm) to the College, which is proving to be a favourite event among students as they get to interact with rabbits, snakes, lizards, rats, tortoises and even ducks. There were numerous reactions to the variety of animals on display (with a few even shrieking once the snakes were offered to them), but it was all good natured.
Interacting with animals can be a great way to help ease mental health issues, particularly stress and anxiety and the Students Union would like to thank Kidz Farm for helping to make today a success.
