It was with deep sorrow and shock that the faith community of St Mary's University College learned on Monday 24th April of the sudden death of one of our students, Emma Doran. Emma was a first year student of the College. On behalf of the staff and students of the College, we wish to express our condolences to Emma's family and friends. We appreciate the need to maintain a space for grieving and wish to preserve the family's privacy at this time. Members of the College staff are presently providing pastoral support to Emma's student friends and will be offering support for her family as appropriate. The College community will be remembering Emma in its prayers at this time. Mass was offered on Tuesday 25 April for Emma.
