Owen Dudley Edwards was the reader in American and Commonwealth History at the University of Edinburgh, where he remains an honorary fellow of the History faculty.
His recent public lecture at St Mary’s University College on the theme “How Catholic Was the Easter Rising?” saw him engage in a most interesting and erudite way on an important and controversial theme in this, the centenary year, of the 1916 Easter Rising.
The podcast of the lecture is available for download. (75.5MB, MP3 format)
