At a recent breakfast reception in the College’s Student Centre, the Principal, Professor Peter Finn, and the Coordinator for Student Support and Guidance, Deirdre Cree, congratulated those who had contributed significantly to student life in the College.
The annual reception is designed to be a forum at which the College Community acknowledges the students’ wide range of sporting achievement, volunteer service, charitable work, educational outreach and pastoral activity. The event highlights the rich tapestry of activities, in addition to academic achievement, undertaken by students over the past year.
The students concerned were acknowledged under seven categories of student life activities as set out below.
The Mission Statement for the College asserts: “We work for the development of the whole person in a Christian, values-sensitive environment in preparation for a lifetime of learning, leadership and service”.
