Subject StudiesFor the BA (Liberal Arts) degree, each student chooses an academic subject and follows modules in that subject at undergraduate levels 1 to 3. The College presently offers students a selection of seven subjects, listed below. The aim of the subject study is to offer students the opportunity for a focused study in one academic area to degree level. This study enables students to develop intellectual skills for study, synthesis and communication. In each subject area, students are offered three modules in each year of the degree. Two modules are taught by members of the subject department, while the third (in years 1 and 2) is taught collaboratively with other members of the Liberal Arts Programme Team.
