Do you need career guidance?

During 2020-21, career advice can be accessed by contacting Gavin McGilly by email

Three options are available to ensure that you get the advice and guidance that you need:

  1. Gavin may respond to your queries by email. So if you have specific questions, include those in your email.
  2. You may request a meeting with Gavin, as the first point of contact in the CESC. Gavin will reply and offer you a meeting on Microsoft Teams. He will be available to meet with students, Monday – Friday, 11.00-1.00. In addition, he will offer timeslots on Wednesday afternoons, 2.00-4.00.
  3. It may become clear that you will benefit from further advice from the Career Officer, from another member of academic staff or from an external specialist in a particular career area and Gavin will provide you with contact details or will help you to access the information you need.

In the meantime, remember – You can do a lot yourself to enhance and support your career choices or to help you to decide which is the best direction for you to take after graduation. Let’s get planning!
