Brian Hanratty participated in a teaching mobility to the University of Turin during the week beginning 14th October, 2007. The main focus of the visit was to give a series of lectures and seminars to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the department of Inter-Cultural Education. Additionally, he had a series of meetings with Professor Francesca Gobbo, the Head of Department, to discuss mutual research interests. The lectures and seminars were well received by the students, with plenty of interactive participation and exchange of ideas. The students were particularly interested in the theme of conflict resolution within the context of Northern Ireland. Brian Hanratty will continue to collaborate with Professor Gobbo on a book which she is editing which is focussed on the Arts and Intercultural Education.
